I was able to check out the first session of The Noble Classic this past weekend, hosted at Martin High School in Arlington, Texas. These were the players in the class of 2026 who stood out the most.
Isaiah Ward | Brennan | 2026 | Wing | 6’6
After missing the majority of the grassroots season due to injury, Ward looks fully back as a do-it-all wing/forward on this Brennan team. He plays bigger than his height, has a strong frame and knows how to use his body to carve out space and get to spots on the floor. Had a few big moments as a scorer in this game, shot well from the perimeter including a go ahead three with less than a minute in the game, followed by a tough turnaround in the paint to win the game. Very strong showing from the Denver commit.
Donovan Criss | Brennan | 2026 | Guard | 6’5
Criss looked comfortable as a primary creator and did a good job of balancing scoring and playmaking throughout the game. He was automatic as a perimeter shooter, had multiple threes in each half and showcased range extending out beyond the college three point line. Used his size and athleticism to make plays on defense, blocked a shot off the glass and took up space in passing lanes. Committed to UTEP.
Talon Todd | Brennan | 2026 | Guard | 6’0
Todd had a scorching hot first half, and managed to keep enough momentum going into the second half to remain a very real threat whenever he had the ball. There aren’t many shots that he doesn’t like and that he can’t make, did a good job of moving without the ball, both finding openings on the perimeter and cutting for finishes at the rim. Shot well off of movement and was able to get to spots off the dribble for pullups. Committed to Austin Peay.
Bryce Dixon | The Colony | 2026 | Wing | 6’5
Dixon was at the center of everything The Colony did on the offensive end , and I was impressed with his ability to create for himself and others at the level that he did. Has a great combination of size, skill, and strength, used his physicality to create advantages and scored on all three levels of the floor. Has a nice shot off the catch, also looked good getting downhill as a straight-line driver and was able to stop and score on pullups. Committed to Austin Peay.
Antoine Almuttar | Parish Episcopal | 2026 | Guard | 6’4
Almuttar made his mark on the game through consistent energy and hustle plays. Loved his defensive activity, forced multiple turnovers on the ball and in passing lanes. Pushed the ball up the floor in transition and put pressure on the rim in the halfcourt, played well through contact and ended with multiple and ones. Was active on the offensive glass and got a couple of putbacks, also took a charge on a drive in the second half.
Vonte Sanders | South Central Prep | 2026 | Forward | 6’8
Sanders showed flashes of a versatile offensive game that are very intriguing for someone his size. Has a thinner wiry frame but plays strong was able to catch the ball at the top of the key play through contact on drives to the rim for finishes. Looked comfortable and confident shooting the ball from the perimeter and was able to work out of the post, got a tough turnaround shot to go down from the short corner. Has very real two-way upside.
Theo Brannan | South Central Prep | 2026 | Guard | 5’10
Brannan’s speed, motor, and craftiness allowed him to be a high-impact player on both ends of the floor. He was a pest defensively, smothering ballhandlers at the point of attack and forcing them into mistakes, then diving onto the floor to get the ball once it was loose. Was able to shift gears and shake defenders to get into the paint consistently on offense, had a handful of tough finishes over bigger defenders and found teammates all over the floor as a passer.
Nehemiah Lawrence | Allen | 2026 | Guard | 5’5
Lawrence proves every time he steps on the floor that height is not a limiting factor in becoming an elite basketball player. A bulldog lead guard, he did a little bit of everything as a scorer, playmaker, and defender. He has a strong frame and quick first step that allowed him to get into the paint, was able to find creative ways to score inside and showcased his vision as a passer. Showcased deep range as a shooter as well, hitting from well beyond the high school line. Committed to Hampton.
Steven Reynolds III | Arlington Martin | 2026 | Guard | 6’5
Reynolds’ combination of size and skill as a shot creator allowed him to make a good number of attention-grabbing plays. Has great end-to-end speed in transition and a creative handle that allows him to create space to get his shot off, hit shots from all over the floor and proved to be comfortable scoring over contests. Was able to score even when defenses focused in on him and has the athletic tools to make things happen on defense.
Josh Weems | Little Elm | 2026 | Guard | 6’1
Weems was unstoppable whenever he decided to get to the rim. Slightly undersized but very athletic, he impressed with his ability to create and play through contact on his way into the paint, as well as his body control in the air to finish plays. Was active on both ends of the floor a a rebounder and got down the floor quick in transition, mainly looked to score inside but was able to knock down a corner three. Made big plays that brought energy to the floor.
