Built Different. From Day One.

OUR CORE VALUES

Everything NXTPRO does is rooted in five values that guide how we build, compete, and show up — for our players, our programs, and each other.

Servant Leadership

We put others first. Always. Servant leadership isn’t a management style — it’s a belief that the best way to lead is to support and elevate the people around you. Every decision we make starts with that intention.

Greatness

We define greatness as selfless exceptionalism — not just performing at your highest level when it’s easy, but rising in the defining moments of life’s greatest challenges. That’s where character is built. That’s where champions are made.

Think Innovation

We are relentlessly open to change. We bias toward creativity, think big, and embrace the idea that if you’re not failing occasionally, you’re not pushing hard enough. NXTPRO was built to innovate the grassroots model — and we haven’t stopped innovating since.

Deliver Joy and Peace

Results matter. But we go beyond the tangible. We want every player, program, coach, and partner associated with NXTPRO to feel genuine joy and peace in their relationship with us. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to.

Self-Starter

We don’t wait for permission. We see what needs to be done and we do it. NXTPRO is built by people who turn ideas into action and challenges into achievements — and we attract players and programs who carry that same energy.

Where NXTPRO Began — And Where We're Going

2021 — The Vision Takes Shape

NXTPRO Is Born

In 2021, NXTPRO was founded with a mission to innovate the grassroots basketball circuit model. The goal was clear: create a platform that gave players of all levels — from NCAA Division I prospects to DII, DIII, NAIA, and JUCO hopefuls — real exposure, real competition, and a real path to the next level.

2022 — Taking the Court

NXTPRO's First Season of Events

Spring/Summer 2022 marked NXTPRO’s inaugural season of live basketball events. Programs and players from across the country competed on the NXTPRO circuit for the first time, establishing the foundation of what would become one of the most competitive grassroots platforms in the nation.

August 2022 — Developing the Whole Player

NXTPRO Camps Launch

In August 2022, NXTPRO hosted its first camps — expanding beyond tournament play to offer players a dedicated development environment and unique exposure to college coaches and scouting vendors. The camps reflected NXTPRO’s commitment to player growth on and off the court, not just competition.

December 2022 — A New Level

The PRO16 Circuit

NXTPRO introduced PRO16 as its premier tier of sponsored youth basketball team competition in December 2022, focused on the 2023 season. PRO16 brings together elite programs under a structured, high-exposure league format. PRO16 has produced college signees, McDonald’s All-Americans, nationally ranked prospects, and multiple 1st round NBA Draft picks.

As NXTPRO’s flagship league, PRO16 delivers high-level competition within a structured environment for elite teams and athletes nationwide. NXTPRO oversees every aspect of PRO16—from eligibility standards and competition rules to officiating procedures and event administration—to ensure a consistent, high-quality competitive experience that supports athlete development and exposure. Built around the nation’s top basketball programs, participation in PRO16 is by invitation only and requires participating teams to meet specific qualification criteria. Contact NXTPRO to learn more about the selection process, league events, and participation criteria.
August 2023 — A Major League Sponsorship

NXTPRO Partners with Puma

In August 2023, NXTPRO announced a landmark strategic sponsorship with Puma Hoops — making NXTPRO one of only four true shoe circuits in the country alongside Nike, Adidas, and Under Armour. Puma became the official partner and outfitter of all NXTPRO camps and circuits beginning with the 2024 season, providing players with Puma’s latest performance footwear and apparel and elevating the platform to a national stage.

“Puma’s been all-in since the day it was announced.”

January–March 2026 — Year-Round Basketball

NXTPRO Launches Its First Winter Season Circuit

NXTPRO expanded its calendar in January 2026 with the launch of its first-ever youth winter season circuit, running January through March 2026. The winter circuit extended NXTPRO’s reach beyond the traditional spring/summer grassroots season — giving youth players more opportunities to compete, be scouted, and develop throughout the full calendar year.

July 2026 — Reimagining the Camp Experience

NXT150 National Showcase Launches

In July 2026, NXTPRO restructured and rebranded its camp model with the launch of the NXT150 National Showcase — a bold evolution of what player development and exposure events can be. Open to athletes from all circuits, grassroots programs, and high schools nationwide, NXT150 is built around one core idea: elite players deserve elite evaluation on a national stage.

Each NXT150 event features a national ranking analyst who evaluates participants for potential inclusion in the NXT150 Rankings within their graduating class. Athletes compete in four guaranteed games in front of scouts, college coaches, recruiting services, and national evaluators — with premium media coverage, an official NXT150 showcase jersey, and an exclusive pair of lifestyle shoes included for every participant.

With eight events spanning New York, Boston, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Atlanta, Orlando, Duncanville, and Los Angeles, NXT150 brings the national showcase experience to every corner of the country.

NXT150

From a dream in 2021 to a Puma-sponsored national circuit with 50+ scouts, 70+ annual events, and players earning offers from programs at every level — NXTPRO is just getting started.
