Came thru to check out the Liberty North Invitational. I caught 3 games. The middle game was between Nixa and Washington. It looked like Nixa would pull away at halftime as they had created some separation. Washington is a scrappy bunch though and got it back to within 6 in the 4th qtr. Only to have Nixa step on the gas a bit and finish it out with the “W”, 69-53. Nixa has reloaded from a terrific team last season. They have shooters and playmakers all over the floor. Will be a tough out for anyone.
