These are some of the players to look out for this weekend in OKC.
Bryce Potts 2024 Forward | Team Oklahoma
Potts is a 2024 Forward from Team Oklahoma and is a player to watch this summer as he comes off another state championship win with Edmond North in the 6A class. Despite being severely underrated, Potts has consistently excelled on his Grassroots and School teams. It will be exciting to witness his talents in the spotlight this year with having opportunities to score the ball.
Cash Mcalvain 2025 Guard | Tulsa Hawks 16U NXT
Mcalvain is a 2025 Guard from the Tulsa Hawks 16U NXT, a knockdown shooter from Tahlequah who recently had a successful state tournament run with his team in class 5A. With his ability to go for 4 and 5 threes in one game at a high rate, Mcalvain is expected to excel in the looser defensive schemes of Grassroots.
Sutton Woods 2024 Guard | Tulsa Hawks 16U NXT
Woods is also a 2025 Guard from the Tulsa Hawks 16U NXT, hails from Catoosa Oklahoma, and is returning to the team for the second year in a row. With his deep ball threat and exceptional performance when playing with guards who can create for him, Woods should wow audiences this year with his potential to score a ton of threes.
Jackson Welch 2024 Forward | Tulsa Hawks 17U NXT
Welch is a 2024 Guard from the Tulsa Hawks 17U NXT and is a 6’6″ Stretch Forward with a talent for shooting the ball excellently. As the player of the year in his respective conference, Welch is a potential scholarship player who may succeed in guarding multiple positions and shooting at a high rate, potentially leading to a 4-year college scholarship.
