Tough player, great in help D. During his game against BNB NXTPro, Evan set the tone defensively by coming up with a couple of steals by either jumping the passing lanes or from active hands in on-ball defensive situations. On offense, he was his team’s main force. He showcased that he could score from all three levels, he had a level of patience and maturity in his game, never rushed shots, or felt rushed against an extremely physical and aggressive team. Was extremely impressed with the way he played over the last weekend.

Gary Willie #0 Bama Hoops Acadamy 17U

As an elite perimeter defender, and physical post defender, Gary was able to defend both up top and down low against a bigger Oklahoma Saints team. Gary used his physicality and vertical ability to challenge bigger players in the post. On the perimeter, he is quick and light on his feet making him a pest on the perimeter. He was also the most vocal player on the court by far constantly in communication with his players.

A confident 3PT shooter with high effectiveness, Asher was a scoring threat for the Iowa Battlers. Defenders absolutely must close out on him or he will knock down a three. Also, Asher is capable of getting in the paint and using his physicality to make plays in the post. Also to note, Asher has great hands in catching and holding on to the ball.

Zion Luque is an incredibly skilled scorer for MPJ Elite. Confident in his shot on all three levels, Zion is especially impressive from beyond the arc. Defensively, he uses his length to great use as he is disruptive in the passing lanes constantly coming up with steals.

Joel was incredible in the post. Possess great patience and footwork down low. He is able to back down defenders with his great frame and strength. Great touch under the rim. Excellent passer from the post. Great hands down low. Excellent communicator and can protect the rim on the other side. If you love post play you’ll love Joel Robinson’s game.
